The successful candidate will provide secretarial support to the Managing Director as well as some support to the Sales Director and After Sales Manager. The role also incorporates a broad range of other office management responsibilities including personnel administration. Confidentiality relating to all duties is essential.
The Managing Director will require a full secretarial service, which will include diary and meeting arrangements, preparations for Board meetings and all travel arrangements.
The Sales Director and After Sales Manager will also required some assistance from time to time.
You will be required to fulfil general office and facilities management functions, with the compilation of reports, organisation of staff social events and conference organisation, replacement of furniture, office maintenance and health & safety issues.
Administration of personnel will also be included with the creation of HR files, offer letters & employment contracts, monitoring of employment application and employee long service awards. Ordering of electronic equipment eg. Blackberries, laptops etc.
You will be the first point of contact for PR/marketing/sponsorship/advertising enquiries that come into the office via phone or email and will report to the Marketing Department regarding relevant articles to the company newspaper.

This hands on role will require you to work closely with the Member Services Director and Database Manager to identify opportunities of potential new members to meet acquisition targets and promote membership benefits. You will also need to liaise with the Sales department to close the deal on new leads from the exhibitor side, along with supporting and inputting to a wider CRM proposal.
You will have completed a minimum of two years experience within a Marketing Assistant role with proven experience in executing on acquisition and retention campaigns.
You will be self-motivated and have a .hands on. approach to your work. Excellent project and account management skills will be sort and experience in telecoms or previous international role will be an advantage.
Preferred candidates may be asked to complete a short case study.

A minimum of 5 years experience working at a senior /board level and be able to proactively fully manage a senior level Officer. You will have excellent verbal & written communication skills and good sense of prioritisation and implementation with extremely high attention to detail, able to co-ordinate complex projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
You will be required to work with a range of different people; so will need to have strong interpersonal skills and cultural flexibility.
